I'm having trouble finding an answer for this, so I'm hoping you guys can help out: Recently purchased a used Spector Euro LT with the Darkglass preamp, previous owner dimed the internal mids knob. I want to reset it, but what is flat? Knob at 0 or at the middle position? Couldn't find this...

Not a long term solution, but selling that extra gear will buy you time while you work out a solution. Try ebay, sell random stuff you no longer need, like clothes you will never use or something.

Never done this myself but this is what I would do: Cut the wings off the bass body, or make a body out of a 2x4, this is to handle the tension and have a solid place to mount the bridge and pickups. Have Chewie Modify the Millenium falcon to fit the 2x4 body and attach it with wood screws. Find...

In my experience, the biggest problem with tabs is trying to learn to play an instrument from them (be it guitar or bass). It gives you a false sense of confidence that makes it hard to learn the basics.
