Not sure if it's a real "update" but I did add this under my 400+. Still trying to dial in the eq+HPF as this is a very different cab than the old Ampeg 810. Sounds great, and is oddly smaller than I thought it would be. Also, this thing will never be moved again, jam room only

    Pickup/Preamp replacements for Jaguar Bass?

Did you ever end up finding a wiring diagram to replace the stock preamp with the bts? I've got a BTS but I'm not quite sure how the wiring should be

What year did you start playing bass?

93', 19 years of age. Thought I was too old to start, lol

Ever buy a bass that was perfect as it was and you never changed anything, even strings?

1969 sunburst Fender P. And then it was stolen

What are some of the warmup bands at concerts that blew you away

Alice in chains 91' opening for Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer on the clash of the titans tour. Had no idea who they were. I definitely searched them out after that show

My 40th Birthday Gift...all original 1969 Fender Jazz Bass

I had a 1969 fender p stolen from me 25 years ago. Loved that bass

Bands you have seen that you’ll never forget, but,,,,

Queens of the stone age, with Dave Grohl. I mean I knew he was a good drummer but to see him up close, in such a small venue, was a real eye (and ear) opener. I've only played with one drummer, in 25 years, that even came close to pounding the kit as hard as Dave did that night

    I Love Stingrays, but $7,000?

    Nice! ^

Have you ever boiled your bass strings?

I've done this, from time to time, over the years. When I was first starting out in the early 90's, strings seemed very expensive, and I had little money to spare. I will add to this that I would wrap them in tinfoil, with holes poked, and bake them at a low temp to remove any excess moisture...

Artists everyone likes that you don't understand

Normally stuff I'm not into is just in one ear out the other......but I just can't do the Greta Van Fleet thing. Not even 100% sure why ‍♀️
