    strings won't fit aaaargh!!!

    I have a similar problem but in reverse. I had a set of medium gauge strings (50-120) and decided to try a light gauge set (0.45-.100) and now my E string keeps sliding out of the nut. :confused:

    Might I suggest taking the neck of your musicmaster and putting it on your jazz bass?

    Unless country becomes the dominant genre than I don't think there's a problem with bassists dying out.

    My favourite bassist would have to be Niki Monninger of the Silversun Pickups. Christopher Wolstenholme second and Geddy Lee in a not distant third.
