What was your first bass amp and how bad was it?

My first bass amp was a combo. An Acoustic B100. It wasn't bad. After 6 months I purchased a B210 NEO for a fuller sound. Got rid of the setup when I got an Acoustic B600 head with an Acoustic B810 cab.

what basses haven't worked out for you... and why?

I recently sold my Ovation TX 4 string acoustic/Electric Bass. It was a thing of beauty and it sounded great. However, I couldn't get used to the rounded back and it was next to impossible to adjust the trussrod from within the body.

the Official Ampeg Club Part 5

Hey there Gents, Questions: I had a BA-115v2 sometime back and it kept making a popping sound that came through loud and clear and a high pitch sound that would come through as well. I returned it and got my refund. I am concerned as I am looking at possibly purchasing a BA-210v2. Has...

    Fender Rumble Club

Hey Gents Got a Question For You All, The width on the Rumble 210 cabinet is 19" whereas the Rumble 15 is 23". Can the 210 be rotated on it's side and the Fender symbol be moved from it's current position and placed on the top left like the 15?

Are Shorter Scales the Hottest Trend in Basses Right Now?

I love my Epiphone Viola Bass (30" shortscale) and with the semi hollow body it has, the low end comes through loud and clear. I enjoy my 34" bass guitars as well.

    Short scale conundrum... please help

MonkeyMan2 may I suggest an Epiphone Viola/Beatle bass. The semi hollow body along with flatwounds really give it a great sound that is not thin and it's lightweight. It is a short scale and has 2 humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. It sounds great to practice on without it being...

I changed my pickguard...and didn't consult Talkbass (Jazz Bass content)

I hadn't seen that color of blue bass with a tort pickguard but I must say it adds a nice touch Steve, nice touch.
