The CMD 210 on the floor maybe horizontal and a 210P traveler vertical may answer the call... I will get the height of 3 speakers and since the CMD 102P is 19" tall the four inches from being on their side may not be an issue... it is 23 " vs almost 19" The sound should be awesome with the combo...

That was my initial thinking... a 4 10 seems to be the favorite cabinet of most bass players I do like the sound of a 12 which I have in a 60W cabinet... Is mixing a 12 with the 210 a bad idea? I mean of sound waves

They suggest any of the cabinets I listed... so I am hoping for some input from past experience in using a 2010 for a regular starting cabinet

I recently purchased the Markbass CMD 210 combo. It has 2 10s and a Tweeter, in a front ported cabinet. Great sound. What would be a better cabinet to add to it for a medium sized gig? 2 10s thus giving me a 4 10 set up, or add a single 12 or a twin 12 cabinet, or a single 15. The basses...

I would like to build a cabinet with a 15, 10 and a horn...I would like a suggestion about ohms to have available and a clean sounding head to run it through... Any suggestions? BTW the Ibanez 205 that I bought is a very playable bass... not my Rick 3001 but nice. Thanks for the advice.

Thank you all for your input... after playing most of your suggestions and many at the guitar store... I choose an Ibanez GSR 205 The string spacing is very close to my Rick at the pickups... it is a touch narrower on the upper frets on the neck but with time it shouldn't be too hard to...

I own a 4 string Rickenbacker 3001 ... bought it new in 78... I'm looking for a 5 string to add as a gig bass or backup... hoping for similar string spacing and playing style... passive pickups are preferred but not required. Can you help? I like the Ibanez spacing but there seems to be muddled...
