    I'm trying to understand what's happening here. I see what appears to be an Ampeg SVT Micro-VR going into an Ampeg SVT 210AV and a Fender fridge (not sure which cab this is). It appears the head pushes 200w @ 4 ohms, the Ampeg cab 200w @ 8 ohms. So is he only pushing 100w each into the Ampeg...

    Tonally I'm looking for more of a warm thump, with less parameters to have to worry about (want to simplify). The EMG's run hot. I've been trying to cool them off with flats and EQing, but there's still just a lot of treble and general electronic noise. As my ear for tone as developed over time...
