just out of curiosity, since these don't come up often: what is the string spacing at nut/bridge?

Appreciate the quick response and the summoning of Meaculpa! That's some good logic on the nut width, I'd never thought to use first fret as a reference. A bit of taper is preferable too, so that might be all the info I need!
