It looks like bass spotlight is the most active guy for custom orders, and it seems to be Facebook only. Just wondering if I should know anything before getting on the book for the first time in a while, I have read through this thread a bunch and I know things change.

Just looked it up, it’s called rocklite ebano, LMI sells it. Rocklite Ebano fingerboard 5/16" thick, 1st grade, 5 string bass

I made a fretless with a rocklite board, turned out great. Uniform color, still looks like wood. Check out the thread posted above, that’s what convinced me. Doesn’t weigh a ton like ebanol

GeoShred is a ton of fun, set up like 4ths just like a bass. The new swam plug-ins sound phenomenal, I bought them all day one.

I don’t think this has been suggested yet, but you could use a common tone to do a parallel shift. Let’s say A7 to C7, using diatonic modes we could play A mixolydian and shift to A Phrygian on the C7. This allows you to stay in one position and see the notes that are common between the two...
