I am shiiping a bass with a hardshell case. Im guessing it might weigh 25 pounds? Or is that too much? Also on ups.com I put in 25 pounds, with diminsions of 60x24x24 and it says cost for ground would be $185 to the location its going to. KC to NJ. Is this odd? Am I messing the size up...

Im looking to sell my bass but have never shipped much before. I have a UPS store right by my house. Should I just take it there and let them package it for me? Do they offer insurance?

Hard to tell without seeing it, can u get an instructor? even if its only for a limited time to help you with basic technique?
