Hi guys! Just got an used DUO 17 with just a few spare adhesive pads for the plates. My questions is for you experts already with the TEMPLE boards: Is it ok to use another adhesive brands with the plates? Like the options from 3MM or Scotch? Or just not, and I need to go with the original...

Thanks @DukeLeJeune for the kind words of wisdom and availability to help.. :) regarding this speaker, probably I will make it a sweet cabinet that suits its specs in a not so near future.. But when I'll do that, I'll certainly came back here and ask for your help :) is that ok for you? ;)

Thank you @Red Planet , but I just realize that this cabinet will always be more used with guitar than with bass.. so I just decided to stick with the guitar thing on this.. To have an optimal performance here with bass, I would probably need to modify the cabinet, and i think that I'll preserve...

As I refer here on the beginning of this post, I have an EV 15BX Electro-Voice 15" Inch Long Throw Bass Guitar Speaker 400 W 8 ohms, laying around without use.. #1: What do you think about this speaker? #2: Can you please help shedding (on me) some light over its Specs manual? Check it here...

@BogeyBass Thanks for the reply and suggestions.. In fact I'm normally a purist, but this time I thought that would be best to ask for some advices on this. You were totally right.. If i didn't want to give this to much thought and keep it "old", I would use for the guitar a vintage Celestion...

Agree!! But most probably I'll keep two diferent speakers to use on the #2054 cabinet... one exclusively for guitar and another one for bass.. and change them depending on the need

THANks a lot voidded3.. very practical and insightful suggestions :) For guitar as I love greenbacks, I think that the new G15V-100 Celestion fullback Will be the option... for bass I'll listen all the options but I'll read about that legend series... the #2054 has a small open/Port in the back...

Email sent to this guys.. lets see what they say :) For use with guitar I'm inclined to give an opportunity to the new Celestion G15V-100 Fullback, but the challenge is the one for Bass, as I would like to have something that could use all the potencial and specs of this particular model from...

Thanks :D.. lets see... I'm not "graduated" at all on this quality relation between internal size of the cabinet and optimal speaker performance.. I don't know how to do that maths or whatever.. :p and you guys are the best.. so, here I am!
