    As a brand new bass I don’t want to start taking it apart to check for issues inside the cavity in case this invalidates my guarantee. And if there is an issue unlikely I can fix it. If it was a second hand purchase I’d have it apart in seconds :-)

    I have tried both passive and active (with all active controls centred). Have even plugged directly into my analogue studio desk and listened via the monitors to eliminate amp probs from the loop. Am now going to adjust pickup heights to see if that helps
