I contacted Two Notes support and they said that their input sockets are looser than that of other companies. The adapter itself holds on fine and so far there are no issues. It's the plastic mounting or casing (not sure about the terminology) which surrounds the socket that moves around a bit...

I got a Le Bass preamp this Black Friday. It sounds great. But the power input wiggles around a bit. It works fine and there is no indication that there is a loose connection. I just wondered if this is normal.

I think the Minilab is a great choice, but if you can manage 20.00 more, the Arturia Keystep is also one you should consider. Better quality keys than most midi controllers in this price range and an excellent feature set.
