John have you tried your v4 cab with a five string? I'm interested in doing exactly what you did here but I'd like to know how it handles a low B. Anyone tried this?

Resurrecting this to see what you ended up doing as I am trying to do the same. Were you able to just pop the grill out or did you have to unscrew the top screws and slide out the preamp?

Even though my tone is dirty? My Aguilar Agro is always on. I kind of assumed Schroeder cabs were meant for a more hi fi clean tone. They do offer a wide variety of speaker configurations which is nice.

Cool this is all good news. I love the sound of my t-20 but the neck is just too wide for me.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but if the neck pocket on my foundation is only .01" smaller than that of my T-20, would I be able to put the foundation neck on my T-20 (assuming the holes line up)? The heel measures the same on both.
