Thank you! yeah, it's sobering how much it changes your life...but in the best way! Lifting and bass playing has been put aside for now but I don't want to lose it! Even just to have something productive to work on was so rewarding. Idk, would love others' feedback/perspective.

Let's say you have your P bass needs covered but you have to choose between a modern active jazz style - Schecter, Warwick, Spector, Ibanez or a passive Jazz - Fender. What do you pick and why? You can only have 1.

I feel like this might not be a great question. But I am curious why Ibanez is mentioned so rarely in threads talking about your "#1 bass" or "if you only had 1 bass forever what would it be?" Why do you think that is?

Curious how some of you have been liking this course so far?

I am in a similar place. Really thinking about a 5 string premium with nordstrand big singles. But the new basses are making me consider paying less and still getting nordstrand big breaks.

Curious why they decided to do this. I feel like it further blurs the line between premium/standard SR's. I am still considering grabbing one of last years premium models with the big singles. Killed by deaths reviews have really peaked my interest.

Curious if people will still prefer the big singles to the new big breaks. I don't dig the new designs but i am curious about the new pickup...

How do the nordstrand pickups sounds for jazz and blues music? I feel like they would work well for rock and metal. Just haven't had the opportunity to hear them in person.

Were there other versions of the premium basses that you saw? Or just those 2 new colors?
