Hello everyone! I am looking for opinions on Upton Basses. Preferably their carved basses. I have heard a few different stories about them and I would love to hear what you all have to say, good or bad. Thanks for the help in advance!

Also there is Bob's house of basses in Maryland. Their prices are decent and they have a good selection of bases as well.

Great responses guys. There is a place that I think is pretty good in Atlanta. They are not strictly a bass shop but Ron Sachs house of violins had some good instruments and they are pretty fair on price too. ..
