PROBLEM SOLVED !!! I opened the control plate, adjusted only a quarter turn the output of the preamp and everything sounds ok using the passive input of the Ampeg. Amazing how just a little adjustment impacts when amplified. Thanks a lot to everyone who took the time to help me and give advice...
