Sadowsky Modern Demo (Tower of Power)

BTW I'm officially mad at Dr. Cheese.

Sadowsky Modern Demo (Tower of Power)

I never thought I cared much for the modern sound. But after hearing it in the context of great players and solid tracks, I am very wrong. Then again, everything Sadowsky is pretty special.

    Very Personal IEMs

Yes, I take one of the Eversync inputs direct from the Midas 16 channel mix aux out and control my own IEM band mix with my iPad and the Mixing Station app. The other input is straight from my pedalboard for my effected bass sound. I can digitally balance the two simply with the pushbuttons on...

    Very Personal IEMs

I was rocking the Rolls PM351, and it works fine as stated above for a wired solution. I switched over to https://cloudvocal.com/products/eversync-wireless-iem about five gigs ago to go completely wireless to give me more mobility, and it has been great so far.

The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

I got the Finally V3 in house yesterday. Thank you Nathan for the quick turnaround despite this being a special order. Thanks to this forum as well for the previous posts regarding tube selection. I had the head Sushi chef install a 5751 for what I perceived to be the best compromise between...

    Official Barefaced Bass Cab Club

Do you ever see yourself playing with a drummer on a kit? If not, the One10 is all you need. If so, adjust your volume, style, and tweeter requirements upwards from there to decide between the SM and SC. You could also add another One10 later if you want a modular growth solution. Also, I'd...

The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Thank you for this. I knew it could do the return effects job. I also had a Finally V2 and was curious if this had the same 1/4 output voltage to drive a 400 Watt Hypex power amp.

Does anyone here use a Neptunium to drive a power amp from the 1/4" output?

Genzler Magellan 800 vs. Trickfish Bullhead .5k

I’ve had both. I preferred the eq points on the Trickfish. The Magellan seemed to have more oomph. Both are great from a support standpoint. Neither will disappoint you.

Is there a way of isolating and amplifying bass lines from songs on a computer?

I bought Song Master Pro after trying the demo. It was not the least expensive option available, but I have found that the amount of time it saves me learning new songs is an incredible value. The feature set is extensive, and the abilities to isolate and remix tracks is outstanding.

Which Barefaced cab do you prefer and why?

I've owned both the SC and BB2. Both will do the 5 string just fine. I prefer the ability of the BB to hit deeper and higher, without necessarily tuning my rig to those limits depending on the venue. Now that I have the BB2 (FR800 format), there's no going back.

    Lightweight 34" bass's ,SANDBERG, SPECTOR, ??

I am playing the Sandberg TT5-SL as my one and only bass. It weighs in at a svelte 6 lb 5 oz! For a 5 string! I really like it a lot, and the weight difference from an 8+ pounder is very noticeable to me, especially on a long gig. I did change the pickups to Kloppmann 61 jazz. The stock to me...

BL wants us to down tune half a step for next gig

I play in a band that does this as well. You are correct on the fingering. You can play the open strings as everything is relative to the tuning. If you want to get used to the new sound, I suggest playing along with the original tuned down 1/2 step with software like Moises, Transcribe, or Song...
