Very Personal IEMs

This is literally THEIR JOB!!!

Do you not like to bother your mechanic when your car breaks down, or bother your doctor when you get sick? :rollno:
Last time I checked, "their job" was to make things sound good for the audience. I might be PART of their job, but not their primary one. Having said that, I know that hearing myself helps the end result, but I also know the audience's standards are different than mine. I'm getting some good ideas here.

So I've used both the belt pack headphone amps, and the rolls style on stage. The belt pack wins IMO, only because I've pulled the 1/8" plug out of the extension while playing with the rolls multiple times. Too much swingy dangly tiny cable

If you get everything sorted out to your satisfaction based on what's been offered and what you're getting, that's great...carry on, but IMO something that would be really helpful in getting possibly great and spot-on ideas would be to give some information on your circumstances. As a reader, all I know is that you say you're a victim of circumstances where you have difficulty hearing yourself. What kind of gigs are typical? Does this all involve one band? Is there a band owned pa? Hired sound? House sound? What's the overall monitoring situation for the band(s)?

saw the Eversync and was always curious about it.. can you still hear your bandmates ? would love to get one
Yes, I take one of the Eversync inputs direct from the Midas 16 channel mix aux out and control my own IEM band mix with my iPad and the Mixing Station app. The other input is straight from my pedalboard for my effected bass sound. I can digitally balance the two simply with the pushbuttons on the Everclear. I am still exceptionally pleased with this setup.
