Unfortunately it will not, there's not enough room on the box to get it in there. No matter what happens with Finally in the future, I want it to stay the same size.
Yup. It's still switchable so you can bypass it when you don't need it, but HPF is variable frequency sweepable from 30Hz to 120Hz.
Is the HPF still only in the affected circuit or will it also be in the dry passed circuit?
I think a special price on a Finally 3 pedal is in order, 50% more for spoiling the surprise.
Only in the affected circuit. There is no circuitry in the dry pass, it's true bypass. The HPF was designed to work together with the preamp circuit and would not work well without it.
I have recently (literally a couple hours ago) learned about the General Product Safety Regulations that take effect in the EU today (December 13). I'm still doing research to figure out how that will impact Sushi Box as I would like to continue to get pedals to my European friends, but depending on how things look I may have to temporarily halt sales to the EU while I get things figured out. More on that to come.
I'm not opposed to regulations as they are for the benefit and safety of the consumer, I just need to figure out what it will take to stay compliant and see if that makes sense for me.

This might be the one time Brexit has actually been useful, from all of the info so far, shipping to the UK from outside of the EU shouldn't be affected
Does anyone here use a Neptunium to drive a power amp from the 1/4" output?
From that other thread that was posted about this, I would think the major distinction would be whether you're a seller in the EU or a seller in the US selling to private importers in the EU. The former could cause you issues, the later not so much.

It may also depend on the output level of your bass. I have Delano JMVC 4 FE/M2 pickups on my J bass and they are HOT!, so they have plenty to juice to push through a pre.

I was afraid the new features of Finally V3 would include no shipping to the EU.
I was awaiting its release cause I'll be ready for a purchase early next year. Seems the EU has a different plan.
I’ve done it but definitely had to crank it in my couple of situations. When I was using the Finally and Underground Accelerator I had a way easier time
Thank you for this. I knew it could do the return effects job. I also had a Finally V2 and was curious if this had the same 1/4 output voltage to drive a 400 Watt Hypex power amp.
While not a Neptunium, my Nobelium had to be pushed hard to drive a power amp. And this is with its buffered output.
IME, very few preamp pedals have enough juice to drive power stages sufficiently.
A More works superbly as a boost….can provide a gain factor of about 30 with a 12ax7, and placed downstream from another Sushi pre will easily drive most any power amp via its’ 1/4 » input. I have zero use for More, but this is a particularly good application for it if one has the need.
that's super cool. Will the variable HPF be making it's way to other designs eventually?
