    Medium scale can make the low E feel a bit lighter, maybe before swapping pickups, try flats or tweak the pickup height a bit. I’ve had that warm, thick E you’re describing on a classic vibe ‘60s Pbass with flats.

    From my experience, the Quiet Line pads do cut down stick noise noticeably, but the kick pedal vibration still comes through the floor.     Yeahhh the “edge of breakup” into OD is exactly how I’d dial it. It really helps to try the head through a couple of cabs in person, at least that’s how I figured out what works best. If you’re in Australia, I'd recommend going with Riffs and Licks :bassist:

    Yes, your 1x12 cab will work fine with the Venture 3. The Venture 3 is more aggressive than an SVT3 and can get gritty enough for RATM riffs. P.s. I laughed out loud at your comment about the neighbors, I had the same issue in the last place I stayed, thanks to my Snare drums 😅..
