The cab is a 1516be. One cabinet..

It’s 2026, and the bass world is flooded with wonderful feather weight options.. And here I am, going in the complete opposite direction. lol This amp is unique. Just starting to get acquainted.. Master on ten. Got that part- Cheers

I just bought a D-180 & 1516. The 1516 is a 4 ohm cab. How were you able to run both cabs?

She smelt like whiskey & cigarettes when I opened the case.

I recently purchased an early B-15S, because it came with a Ripper bass I wanted, and the price was too good to pass up.. What a surprise when I got it home and warmed it up! Just wow.. never played or seen one before. Altec 421A.

Interesting. I will say that the strings on this bass were very old and dead sounding. When I restrung it, I went through the body instead of top loading like it was. Different animal now.. had to bring the treble down.. This bass is fun to play and hard to put down. Likes a pic

It took some getting used to. I like positions 1 & 3.

She got a string change and a cleaning today. I pulled a few screws out of the pick guard and lifted it just enough to see the finish is the same under the guard, not faded.. I believe it to be original, as the checking on the headstock & same green fade on the back of the neck really show...

Little scratch on the volume pot and loose input Jack appear to need some love but so far so good everywhere else..
