Congrats on your "new" bass. May it serve you well.

I've never seen a Ripper in that finish and whatever it is looks beyond cool IMO.

She got a string change and a cleaning today. I pulled a few screws out of the pick guard and lifted it just enough to see the finish is the same under the guard, not faded..
I believe it to be original, as the checking on the headstock & same green fade on the back of the neck really show their age, patina & wear. Curious..🤔🤷‍♂️

How do you like the rotary control?are you finding useful voices with it? Do you have. Favorite setting?

One of my favorite basses ever. I can’t recall that the pickups screws had that configuration though.

I posted mine for sale for a crazy amount of money (not Gibson money , actual fender vintage bass money ) and it sold , so I had to let it go.

My opinion is to post it for sale and just enjoy the bass. Maybe it’ll sell ?
