$300 is a steal for a Pearce in working order.

After a few years of pining, I finally snagged a Capo and it’s great. That being said, I don’t quite understand how the affects loops work in the context of a pedal. Like, if I put my octaver in the pre-loop, how is that different than just having the octave pedal before the Capo?

He was the man and a fantastic symbol of the possibilities of our instrument. I've bought all the books, all the DVDs, I've even got that old Squier VM that was obviously a poor man's Jaco tribute. As far as actually listening to his music very often in 2024? Nope. Almost never.

Still flats, but I switched to TI's. I like the sound of the Cobalts, but wasn't crazy about the feel.

I've got the real deal USA version, but at that price point I'm still tempted, even if just to see how it compares.

Yeah, I have one of those Squier VM Jaco looking basses from about 15 years or so ago. I'll pick it up for a few weeks a few times a year and tell myself I'm going to get really into fretless, but it never sticks. It's fun to kick on the octaver and get my poor man's Pino on now and again.

TBH, all the technical jargon is way over my head, but I replaced the Tonepump in my Wimbish with an LHZ and it was a game changer. It really sounds fantastic.

I dunno; it's a lot bigger stage than any of us have ever bombed on, and she's playing it again this weekend. Shrug....
