    Maybe you should look for some isothonic exercises. They are piano oriented, but helped me a lot with my tendinitis, now my forearm muscles are much stronger.

    Yeah, the low frequencies are harder to distinguish, and also are the ones that you'll ever hear. It's just a thing that happens a lot in beginners, but don't get overwhelmed

    You need to apply some country guitar styles to the bass. It's a great idea. Also, if you own a 5 string, you should try practice some flamenco strummings.
