    I like that idea---I have Stainless Steel screws in stock, and 4 should be plenty to hold it flat.

    It's getting new wiring, and a Diamond plate "pickguard" The stock pickups will stay for now. I like the Blue, and I don't have a Blue one, so that willalso stay.

    Yep---First Act---Everything works, but the pots are junky, and the jack is corroded. I have Alpha pots, and a Pure Tone jack in stock. I also have a piece of Aluminum Diamond Plate to make a new pickguard---that white Pearl is hideous!

    The little Pickguard is white pearl, the neck is straight, the tuners are good, and the finish is in great shape. A good cleaning and a proper setup should be fine for now.

    My Son-In-Law gave me this today. He found it by someone's trash can. This is a classic bought it for my kid, they never played it, sat in the corner for years collecting dust, and threw it in the trash model. I love Free Guitars!
