My Son-In-Law gave me this today. He found it by someone's trash can. This is a classic bought it for my kid, they never played it, sat in the corner for years collecting dust, and
threw it in the trash model. I love Free Guitars!

That's a sin to throw away an instrument. Could always be dropped off at a mom & pop shop, Goodwill, Middle School, High School, College.

The little Pickguard is white pearl, the neck is straight, the tuners are good, and the finish is in great shape. A good cleaning and a proper setup should be fine for now.

I repair Guitars as a side job, and have a fully equipped shop. I fix them up ,and pass them along to people who need them.

Yep---First Act---Everything works, but the pots are junky, and the jack is corroded. I have Alpha pots, and a Pure Tone jack in stock. I also have a piece of Aluminum Diamond Plate to make a new pickguard---that white Pearl is hideous!

I like how the pickguard shape sort of whimsically clashes with the body shape. It gives it kind of a Ren & Stimpy artwork vibe.

That looks like a fun project, and if it turns out you like how it sounds and feels, rock it!

My housemate found a trashed Epiphone Goth T-Bird but it needs a bridge and at least one pickup plus strings & setup so it sits...
