Hi, My name's Mike and I'm 23. I really need some help/guidance. I picked up the bass when I was about 14 when I was at school. Had some lessons at the time but I really need some help and guidance, please hear me out... Recently in my fretting hand (Left, I'm right handed) I've been...

    Mustang Bass - Flatwound help

So it appears I may in the end go with Nickel Rounds to put on the Mustang. Does anyone have any good recommendations? I was thinking DR sunbeams. Will the short scale set work? I just want to make sure they will intonate properly. I'd like a set that is mellow, sits well in the mix and gives...

    Mono Vertigo question

The distance from the bottom strap pin to the top of the Headlock in the Vertigo Bass is about 31". I measured from the bottom of the Mustang up to the bottom of the headstock and it was around 33/34". Do you think this will be ok for the Mustang to fit the Vertigo and keep it secure? I live in...

MONO M80 Vertigo Bass & Guitar Tick

Hi Guys, Does anyone know if Short Scale basses will fit in the Vertigo? More specifically a Fender Mustang bass and Hofner CT 500/1. I have an M80 and the Mustang is just a little too short for it. However I notice the Vertigo's headlock is lower down than the one in the M80 and I think it...

    Mono Vertigo question

It honestly would be ideal as I have a pt nano that fits in a tic that I currently have on my M80. Unfortunately the M80 is too deep for short scales. The vertigo grabbed my attention due to it having what appears to be a lower neck holder. If only the M80 had some form cushion that could be...

    Mono Vertigo question

I'm also concerned with what I've read about the vertigo staining the neck. Should I worry about this?

    Mono Vertigo question

Hi, I'm looking for a suitable gigbag for short scale basses, more specifically a Fender Japan reissue Mustang and a Hofner HCT 500/1. Does anyone know if the Mono Vertigo BASS bag fits these basses ok? I've heard the neck holder is a bit lower on the vertigo so small scale basses are ok...

    Mustang Bass - Flatwound help

Ahh ok thanks for the clarification on the Hofner designed sets! Do you have any experience with the LaBellas? I have a set of TIs that I recently put on my Rickenbacker and are only a few days old. I'm still getting used to them and I think they need to be broken in. Do you think for what I'm...
