Flea played a spector on that whole album, it kicks bass butt, I think its one of his best sounds too.

There is an article in the july/aug '94 issue bass player with robert about what basses he used. It says about him using his fernandes 8-string a bit on the record. I can't say I can hear it though. But otherwise he would have used his OG tobias basses.

Rob is using dunlop straps now. I think he has some custom ones with padding for the shoulder. Hope that helps

Yeah i'd say Scott Uchida is the connection between his Fernandes endorsement and his Dunlop endorsement. The New blue tobias he is using is definately not the same as the old one with the Infectious sticker, the old one is a 'Basic' as it mentions in the '94 issue of bass player. That one and...

This bass is a Tobias Basic 5, he used it primarily with suicidal. He is using a Blue Tobias now, but i'm pretty sure its not the same as in this photo. This one looks darker. The one he is using now doesn't have the Infectious grooves sticker, and has 4 control knobs, this one in the photo only...
