Just hook a tie down strap on one handle, throw it over the top of the amp and secure the other end to the handle on the other side. No need for a shelf extending out the back.

I just picked up my Traynor a few months back and I've only had been able to really crank it once and my experience matched what R. Laevinus said about everything sounding good, so this is some great info. Any chance you guys could share what cabs you're running with those settings? And also...

I picked up a 411 and I love the sound I get running either my Traynor YBA200 thru it. It just pounds out the lows and I get asked about my rig all the time by other bassists every time I'm at the rehearsal studio. I can't compare to the GB stuff, but IMO the Warwick cabs are often overlooked...

Yup. I used to run my BDDI to my QSC RMX850 and it sounded good.

Not quite an Orange/Ampeg>Swr sound, but I love the way my Traynor YBA200 sounds thru my Warwick 411Pro cab. Of course, it sounds great thru my 810E too.

I have a jazz neck that's drilled for Fender/Schaller lightweight tuners as found on '04-'06 Fender American Deluxe basses and seen Invalid Link Removed. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] I can't seem to find a set of suitable replacement tuner that will fit, short of buying the Fenders but...

+1 on Warmoth. Musikraft makes nice J necks too, I snagged a killer bloodwood/ebony Musikraft J neck on ebay for under $100. My warmoth has a bubinga neck with Schaller tuners and balances fine with my 4+ pound chambered korina body.

I live less than a mile from the beach, keep no less than 3 windows in my apartment open at all times and have 6 basses on display in my living room for the past 3 years. The only thing my basses get on them is dust.

So it is possible to re-wire it to be 4 ohms and 600 watts?
