I had the same problem with my G string. I contacted Music Stop and they gave me new set. No more issues now.

My last bass Ibanez bought was an 6 strings bass. It was like $380 at Long and Mcquade.

Ibanez makes some good entry level basses. 5 and 6 strings. I own both. I got a Stingray too. That one is a four stringer.

I've defretted my 5 string Ibanez Soundgear 485. Sounds pretty good. But I need to know how low can I get them? Do I take my gap measurements on the 12th fret? So like how much in miliameters should strings be? Thanks in advance for your help. Cheers

Okay my project is to switch my guitar cabinet speakers to bass guitar speakers. I'm using a Peavy cabinet for the project. I'm just waiting for my speakers coming in the mail. Now my question is should I make a couple of vents holes in the back? I have 4x12 cabinet with no vent holes. And if...
