What I find interesting about his tone is that although it is super scooped, I can always hear what pitches he is playing. Quite a feat for scooped downtuned bass in a metal context.
To me, he always sounds like someone tossed a couple of fist sized stones into a tumble dryer.
I'm not really into Korn or their history now, but I do remember two years ago or so (may be wrong) he was known for being for very down and blue at shows live and a lot of fans saw it, and he quit playing with them. I'm not sure what currently is happening maybe he is back but last I heard he doesn't play with them anymore.Does he still play with Korn?
Does he still play with Korn?
I remember early on reading an interview with him and he was saying that he's not really a bass player and does not play traditional bass lines, the bass was purely a percussive instrument for him.
I've heard "tic tacs falling down the stairs" description before.
