Plays smooth (like other ibanez prestige basses) Clear, glassy tone from bartolini pups (not too much middle like jazz bass or kensmith. It has more like mtd type tone) +1 goreous looking :D

I dont know about ppl who put thumb on the side of neck when they play, but for me it doesnt bother high fret playing at all. Moreover i found that when i play tapping style, my right hand palm and thumb can rest on the upper horn part, which was interesting. So far i love it.

i dont think so. the output signal is not amplified so you cant hear clearly with headphones on.
