Yes I love those, but I would like a Fender at the moment would like to have an actual Fender P in my collection while I can afford it

Lots of us love all the others too, but sometimes we want a specific brand for the piece of history so to speak, it’s not a big deal. I like most brands, especially PV, but at the moment I want to add a legit Fender, because I do love Fender as well.

So I like the new Pro, sounds and feels great. however didn’t want to drop 1800 bucks on my first P want classic James Brown, and all the old Motown and soul sound. what Ps should I be looking at for around 1000 bucks somethin I can be proud of. or am I way under budget

Any thoughts on dropping in a pre wired control plate for a Squire VM Jazz Bass with DP123 pups? I see brands likr 920D or Emerson for around 100 bucks, just wonder if that stuffs any good, other brands to look for?

Shoot when i say tone pots i mean the volume for each individual pup. the main tone knob at the bottom is gradual, the pup knobs are not. I want them all gradual.

Hey guys I got a Squire VM Jazz years back, I put DP123 pups in it and they sounded great........as far as pots and such I just did what a dude a GC believed would be good. Now I cant remember if the pots are 250 or 500..... the volume pot is a Gibson pot cant remember how I ended up with that...

I added dp123 pups to my vintage modified jazz along with new pots a couple years ago or more, always noticed that the volume knob is fine, but rolling the tone knobs, when you go slow with them, it seems the tone doesn’t gradually change, it just gets to a certain spot and boom, major tone...

First off, am I missing something or do all the Ampeg 15 extension cabs cost more than my entire combo amp itself? What are some recommendations for this particular combo, just thought it would be fun to add another cab, ideas?

just fyi i just got this amp used for 175 from GC so I got 3 year warranty too, it looks and acts new..........nice to have another decent practice amp finally.
