I’m sending this to my buddy that is recording/producing my pop punk band’s EP (don’t worry the rick isn’t wasted on me I’m trained, just like singing in a pop punk band and our bass player quit).

I’m still not comfortable doing truss rod adjustments. There’s a local guitar shop in Raleigh that i take for all my work. I’m not very handy and I don’t have a beater bass to experiment with (other bass is a 5 string lakland skyline). But I trust them to do it right. Harry’s is the best.

My dad surprised me with a nice graduation gift from grad school and got me a 1973 rick and I know one output jack is normal and the other is for a rick o’something or other? Can anyone explain what that means, if it matters, and does it involve buying more gear? current setup (if it matters)...

I just ordered a set of the 5 string cobalts. I've been playing with blue steels for years now and never had a problem but a few months ago I bought a set that was missing the D string so I thought I'd try something new. Will definitely report back.

I've noticed over the last couple months that my dunlop strap locks have started rusting. My band practices in a storage unit and it gets really hot so a lot of nights I practice shirtless and sweat a lot. Could the strap be soaking up sweat and causing the locks to rust up? Is there a different...
