So I just got this bass and I'm liking it the only problem is that it seems as if the low B is a lot louder than the rest of the strings. For example If I play a D on the b string and the octave on the A string you can tell a huge difference In the tone. Why!? The neck is pretty straight. And...

I'm sorry fellas like one of the guys had said I know nothing of what "shimming" is....what is that lol But the neck is straight, the saddle is high and the strings run high all the way to the head. I'm pretty set-up stupid but thank you fellas

What can I do? I've attempted to do a set up at home before but it wasn't so effective lol can I just lower my strings from the bridge or...????? Suggestions

So I just acquired this 4 string music man but I noticed it doesn't have a serial number ticket on the was stock but it does have it in the battery compartment....is that ok? Or.....jipped??
