    P Bass pick up.

    I recently picked up a Squire p bass as an upgrade project and the stock pick up has a stronger output and more tone than my U.S.A P bass! Has anyone else come across this and want suggestions on "Fender" p bass pick ups to replace the USA one. Considering the Custom shop '62 pick up. Thanks

    New to the site and I have a question about Jaco. As bassists we all know who he was and can easily recognize his sound, therein lays my question(s). Did Jaco primarily use round wound strings or flats? I'm pretty sure that when he started playing; the flat wound bass sting wasn't around yet...
