I noticed that too.. I play a passive maybe its only people with active that peak so easy... I have to crank to about 9 and play hard to get the peak to light up.

IMO save some money and get the LH500 which gives you 350 in 8ohms or 500 in 4. For what you are trying to do 350 is more then enough. Pair it with a QUALITY 112 or 115 cab at least 300w RMS and you will be set. If you decide you want more in the future buy another matching 12 or 15 cab. I rock...

I finally got my pf-350 in the mail. Focus 115 is an excellent cab when paired with my second choice amp. It gets crunchy ( which is expected with Ampeg) once the gain hits 2-3. That's a very strong Yes!!! Switch to 4ohm and hook up both 8ohm cabs. That will give you the full 500w of glory:bassist: I doubt you make it past 11 with both of those hooked up. :D
