I am searching for a red pearl replacement pickguard for my Sterling MM Stingray5. But.. I am having no luck. Starting to think they just don't make em. Can anyone confirm this devastating blow or, gimme any leads you may have?

Its the Fender deluxe ash limited natural. Its passive with the red pearl pickguard. Musicianfriend says $824. I am saving up a little here and there. Hopefullu it wont be discontinued before I get enough.

It does look like a killer bass. Not familiar with LTD but I have heard good things. Back to electronics. Having active pickups with a passive pre amp. Isn't that a pretty rare combo?

I am not sure. I can see both the ash and the active. The specs of the active says pickups: active. I don't really know. They look completely the same!! Lol

So does anyone have any thoughts on a bass with active pick ups NO preamp. Just active pickups. ???

This one has active pick ups but I think its only an active instrument
