Peavey Fury, made in USA - paid 150 bucks for it used, and it's great, if you can live with a little neck dive. And in the fretless world, a Yammy BB350F, also under $200 used. My main axe is a Fender Precision MIA, and these two are comparable to it in playability, if not in electronics.

I have to agree with you about the Fury neck. I have one of those. Using it with a Peavey Combo 300. Are you happy with the sound of that guitar? Mine seems a little thin around the low G on the E string. What amp do you use with it?
