My main lady

I use a light sandpaper to knock the gloss off. Then, do a layer of true oil (gunstock oil) and let it dry overnight. Then, a really light sanding to finish it off. Nice satin finish that will not be as light as the color of the maple, which is just a personal preference

I spoke with the guy from JV guitars a while back about ordering a body. He spooked me off because he seemed to always be confused about my order. Hate that it didn't work out for you. I ended up going with Doombloom guitars. I've gotten two bodies and a neck from him. Can't recommend him enough
