This is news to me. Interesting though. Buddy of mine plays through a Bugera 333 and we could never get a decent tone out of it.

I don't have a whole lot of history with them, but the ones that I have used have never had a great sound. Price certainly plays a role in their tone. I'd spend a little more and get an Avatar cabinet. They use custom Eminence speakers and they only weigh about 65 pounds or so. Check them out...

Exactly. Price is not a factor, as the Sans Amp is already around $200. Correct, sir. I do like the sound of the amp, it has a GREAT sound to it, but in several parts of our material, I simply need it beefier. I've seen people use the same rig as I do with a Sans Amp and get the a harder...

I just watched a few demo videos of this pedal on YouTube and it still sounds a bit plunky. Maybe it was the settings the user had it on. I'll keep this one in mind. Are you talking about a nice SVT head? :eyebrow: I just got this 450-H a few months ago.

Tube OD. My current rig is a Fender Jazz with passive pickups, playing through an Ampeg 450-H and an Ampeg 8x10 cab. The rig sounds good, but it doesn't get nearly as loud as I want it too. It is too calm of a sound, when I need the tone to be far more beefier.

But better? I was talking to my father and he said there are probably other pedals out there that are better than the Sams Amp Bass Driver.

What is your budget looking like? If it were me (and I had the money), I would go for the Musicman. Those bass guitars are unbelievable comfortable and sound incredible.
