I have an ampeg rb115 and I want to pair it with a 115 ext. cab. Ampeg no longer makes the pf115lf so my only option is the pf115he. Has anyone paired these together and is there any issue with one being ported and one sealed?

Thanks for the replies, I’ve only had the EBs on for a few days and I do really like them. I was just curious about the Dunlop flats and the price is a little pricey.

I currently have the Ernie balls on a bass but was wondering if anyone has tried both and what the differences in tone and string tension is with the Dunlop’s of the same gauge 45-105?

One last question should I unsolder the black battery wire from the pot and go strait to the Jack lug or solder another wire from the pot to the Jack?

Ok thanks that’s what I thought that the black should be going to that lug. I was just surprised they didn’t have it already done but it was made in China

My nephew got a mitchel mb200 bass and it keeps draining the battery when not plugged in. I opened the cavity and the barrel Jack only has 2 wires soldered to it, shouldn’t there be a third to ground it?
