If you have a setup that works, there's no reason to get GAS about a Stomp. I got mine because I was starting a new live rig from scratch.

I don't even use that. My Stomp is basically a compressor, some OD, and EQ as well as a direct box. Why I use a Stomp for that is it's small and there's no risk of bumping knobs and messing up settings. I want to plug in and go on Sunday mornings, not try to troubleshoot my rig. The rest of...

The effects return on the amp would be expecting instrument level, not line level. I wonder if you're hitting a protection circuit that is turning it way down. Try setting it to instrument and turn everything back down, see if that makes a difference.

No lies detected. I think the Stomp's biggest strength is replacing your bass's preamp and your amp, along with compression. I find the bass effects to be usable at best. If I actually used effects regularly, I'd probably build a bigger board with outboard effects on a send/return loop. Now...

Following up, we got together last night to get our instruments and in-ears dialed in on the new system. There are apparently some line array subs involved in the sanctuary now. All I know is it sounded *fantastic*. I can't wait for Sunday!

This is exactly why I use a Stomp. I don't want to worry about any of that stuff anymore and I'm willing to trade that last 10% of "ideal" sound quality for never having to do more than plug in and go. My current setup is wireless -> tuner -> Stomp.

I use a Relay G10S on a very wireless-heavy stage at church. It works, but the biggest problem is that transmitter can't transmit through you. I have the best luck with it when my pedalboard where the G10S is mounted is right in front of me. The more wireless there is in the room (IEMs, mics...

I just run into a GK MB212. I do the trick of splitting the signal to run the send at line level with the amp sim to the board and the signal without the amp sim to the GK combo.
