just been recording with my new Ibanez srf700 and there is a noticeable thump on each note using the Piezo pickup, im assuming this is normal?

thanks, will persevere with the Chromes that are fitted from new but I suspect I will prefer the cobalts, do you use the same gauge as the chromes that they come with in the bass?

Learning to set up a bass is pretty easy, I would learn it yourself, I have had basses set up by pro’s and I have never been happy so I learnt to do it myself, only thing that may go wrong generally is you may ruin the nut but even that isn’t expensive to get fixed
