    I have tried several different brands. I currently have Labella's on my P bass but my favorite Flats are the Sadowsky.

    The Sadowsky Flats are the best strings I have ever tried. I have Labella Flats on my bass and they are good, but not great. The Sadowsky nickels are also worth a try.

    I would not do it based on my experience. My A string broke. I love Flats but that was my experience with them strung thru the body.

    I love the Flats. They are my favorite strings. The nickels are also very good. Give them a try.

    Carvin BR610 - your thoughts?

    I own one and it is a good bang for the buck. It is plenty loud and cuts thru very well. I have played a few gigs with it and it performed well, although I plan to add a br 115 or a br210 to match with it in order to get maximum output.

    Yamaha Attitude Custom or Precision

    I am switching back to 4 string and I am interested in both of these basses. There is lots of info on the Fender. Any feedback on the Yamaha? Thanks
