    My first bass: a Squier Bronco that I named "Count Bass-y". And my yet to be named MIM P-Bass (Torts and flats) that I'm thinking of calling "Duck".

    So I got the Duck Dunn book for XMas

    Excellent book. Great to read about Duck, Cropper and Stax in the context of the times, has me eager to read more. Duck's bass lines are really what drew me to the instrument (40 years on drums, 30 attempting guitar).

    As a new member who will undoubtedly be asking lots of questions that have already been answered.. Perhaps it should be thought of as "reaching the coda." And thanks in advance for the answers to my multiple rookie questions.
