15/6/1 + 15 sub over here in the uk, after some thought i think it was the first 15/6 in the uk. DizzyG built a 12/6 in ireland shortly before i built mine.

Well , here's hoping all my 15 sub parts arrive tomorrow. As im cutting wood for the sub I've decided to rebuild the 15/6/1, and put right a few niggly things and also use a 18 sound horn. I will use a vinal to finish the baffle as its neat and looks good, but undecided on the colour ? Any ideas?

Hi, just mention that I've been using a gb 9.2 with a fearful 15/6/1 for nearly a year now, and im totaly happy with it, as a long time ashown user i was not easly convinced . I really don't give a f@%k what the output my or maynot be,, its as loud as hell thru a single cabinet .

Ok, im thinking of moving away from the norm (well for the uk anyway) and looking at a crown xls 1500 with a seperate EQ. Any problems with this amp, going into my 15/6/1 fearful. cheers.

Cheers, sounds about right to me, when I first took it to rehearsal I a/b it with my current cabs, same head and settings, our 52 year old lifetime drummer sat there with his mouth open!!! (I also think there was a tear in his eye). The difference is night and day. I'm looking at the shuttlemax...

Well im building 2 so the alphalite should be plenty with a shuttle 9.0 pushing them along. Dizzy G, what tweeter did you go for?

+1 on the ibanez ATK, or older ergodine range, or if youve got the means lookup status graphite- kingbass,mmmmmmmm:smug::bassist: And get a set of 30/90 strings.

Hi greenboy, and thanks for the input, I've already decided to build 2,one with a tweet and one without. After ten years + using ashdown kit, it's time for a change. Forgot to add that I will probably have to bug you guys when it comes to crossover time. I'm clueless about them but quite able.

Thanks, to all I was wondering how the alpha worked out, as the 18 sound is proving hard to get here in the uk. Might go for a tweet as well ( switchable of course).
