1 year on and still kicking ass, plus a 15 sub in the very near future.

I'm in. 15/6/1 here. The only cab I'm GASsing for now is a 15sub, which will be built (by me) in the next month or so.

While the final versions have been out for a very long time, I think he means fEARfuls, not nEARfuls. Where's the cutoff point? Including Avater TB153's just because they're 3-way with a 3015LF?



I can't believe after all this time people still want to muddy up the waters. Then again, this is TB so maybe it shouldn't surprise me.

Yes, perhaps I should be a bit more clear. Given that this is The Official fEARful Club only fEARful cabs qualify. I am sorry but nEARfuls cannot be included. It has to be a GreenBoy spec'd design with his recommended components, older GreenBoy specs certainly included. The alternative would just complicate things with so many other possibilities. My humblest apologies as it really is not in my nature to be exclusionary, but I do not see it working properly in this case, if I don't. If you have an LDS cab perhaps the LDS Club would suffice? Thanks in advance for your understanding.

So Torin is the #2......Makes me think of Austin Powers.

Anyway, I'll play along. My 12/6-12/sub set-up. Complete with cabinets that latch together and wheels on the 12/sub. A pitcher of the family. Also it hasn't totally curred my GAS. For some reason I want to build a 15/6....don't know why just have an urge.

Man I have a fEARful sore backside lol but anyways once I am relaxing at home in bed I will get the pics up!! Man I am loving seeing all these fEARfuls I am just trying to keep the GAS down cause man you know what they say.... Once you have had one fEARful you want them all

I can't wait for my cab to be finished. I just started the build of my 1515/66 last saturday. I already have all the wood cut. Tomorrow I should be starting to put it together. Hopefully by the end of the month I should be able to get the speakers in.

On another note, what kind of amps are you guys using? I see alot of genz and other SS. Anyone using any tube amps? I was thinking of getting the Carvin B2000 (tube pre-amp) soon.

I've got a Mesa Walkabout. Weighs in at only 300 watts, but it's a great combination with these cabs.

Frankly, I imagine nearly any amp would sound good through these cabs.

I got a carvin B2000 when I got my cabs and is a beast very very clean yet deep and loud. The tube preamp adds a real nice lil growl to it which I like. I had a gk 1001rbII which was a great head I just like the carvin for how strait forward it is!! Best of luck mate. ~Elliot

I am far from number 2. I'm just doing what I can to be a humble servant of all that is fEARful.

My hope is that more people in the bass community are inspired by these cabs and seek to learn more about them.

I just got a Carvin LB76 and if their heads are half as awesome as their basses then I think i'm going to love it. 2000w for $800 I don't think I could pass it up even if I didn't like the brand haha.

I use an Ampeg SVP-PRO all-tube preamp with a Crown Drivecore XLS1500 Class D (solid state) power amp to drive my 15/6.

It sounds heavenly, to be immodest.

The fEARful Cabs Were Custom Made for me by an fEARful authorized Builder here In Canada, TB member Dekker!!Invalid Link Removed He Was Awesome to deal with and his Work Was Top Notch!!! Could Not be Happier!! If you cant already tell my Cabs are a 1515/66/1 and a 15/6/1 done in black Carpet With a white Duratex Baffle and white Grills!! The 66 has a corner handle with tilt back wheels and Skid Bars on the back!! Anyways there My fEARful babies with their Greenboy Badges!! Long Live fEARful!!

Speaking of, can anyone give me approximate dimensions of each of those cabs? I want to know how much fits in my Accord's trunk as that's my limiting factor.
