completely understand that, however the terror 500 has dual 500 watt outputs to two separate cabs can be linked in series right? which brings me back to my main question about which set up would be best...linking the two cabs together with one cab having the input from the head unit in parallel...

Never said I read through the previous threads, my preference comes from trial and error of testing and trying different amps and set ups over the past 12 years. Is that statement about always being in parallel your professional opinion or just what you have gathered from experience?

8ohm cabs....linked in parallel takes them to 4 ohm..my head unit is 500 watts switchable to both 4 and 8 ohms and the speakon cables I use can easily handle that

Hey all, I have a Terror 500 going through an OBC 410 and 115. Is there any difference (apart from the ohm shift) to rigging the cabs up in Series or Parallel?

Hey all, just looking for some advice. I have an Orange OBC 410 and I'm torn between the Terror head and the SVT-7 pro. Does anyone have any hands on experience with this set up that they can offer?

What about adding an 1x15 (8ohm) same effect as adding an identical cab?
