Nice job on the tuners they really improve the bass. @Drucocu what's that bass on the left in the picture?

    Fender Rumble Club

Just received my new Rumble 800 combo ( adds to Rumble 800HD head, Rumble 500 head + Rumble 1x12 V2). Can anyone tell me what the frequency is of the 2nd Order HPF shown on the Block diagram? (30hz,40Hz, 50Hz?)

I need to confess that I have fallen deeply in love with this bass. Back in the day I owned a 1964(3?) Epiphone Newport bass and I traded it for a 1969 Gibson slot head EB3 in walnut, which I still own. Ever since Epiphone reissued the Embassy bass, I have waited patiently for the reissue of the...

Could you post a photo of the spacer and position under the Pup cover? Was the spacer metal or plastic?

I did the rewire of the TB Pro Pup and the difference was amazing. Not a great deal of difference when the bridge Pup is soloed but a much warmer fuller sound at the mid setting on the blend control. There was no suck out of volume or Mids. I also fitted a set of Short Scale D'Addario XL...

Thanks for sharing your really helpful first Post. Is there any possibility you could post a few photos of the underside of the troublesome bridge pickup?

With 2 HPF's (at 40Hz) cascaded, the effective HPF frequency will be around 55-60Hz. If you prefer this, there's no reason not to do it. Now that is interesting I was led to belive that if you had two HPF s in series both set at 40Hz and each having a gradient of 12 dB/ octave you end up with...

Thanks Agedhorse for your quick response! So the conclusion is "it must be ME" The Subway D800 has a very similar HPF spec as the Thumpinator so I have the same speaker proctection/ bass boom control when my signal goes into the D800 preamp or through the AUX In ( via the Thumpinator). As said...

I am a proud, satisfied owner of a fantastic Subway D800 which drives two Barefaced Super Compact 1x12s. To achieve the wide variety of sounds I require for my function band I use a pedal board into the Aux In of the D800. The pedal board has a switch and HPF (Thumpinator) to allow me to switch...

    Fender Rumble Club

If you use the effects return you bypass the Rumble preamp. If you use an A/B/Y switch to switch the bass guitar signal between the Rumble preamp input (A) and the ToneHammer preamp (B) you can toggle between the two preamps giving you two different sound tones. The Tone Hammer preamp has to...

My pedal board signal chain is Bass guitar-Tuner-Thumpinator- Spectra comp- A/B/Y switch A output to D800 B output-Tech21 VT Bass Di- to Aux In of D800 Should I move the Thumpinator HPF to after the B output? Am I causing any issues with having an HPF before the D800 HPF?

Thanks Jeff for the reply. My covers band need me to switch bass tone mid song so my signal chain includes a A/B/Y switch to route my bass either into the D800 input to enjoy my core tone, or through my Tech 21 VT Di into the 'Aux in' to achieve the second bass tone. The 'Aux in ' is post preamp...

Does anyone use the 'Aux in' for their pedal board? It appears that you need to use a stereo 1/4 jack plug as using a mono jack appears to cause a loss in signal gain. The D800 has a high pass filter in the preamp will I cause any issues if I use a Thumpinator HPF in my pedal board signal chain?
